Wade Wilkes — Station OwnerWade grew up in radio on the heels of the late Big Ed Wilkes. Wade does not try to fill the shoes of his Dad, but he is dedicated in following in his footsteps. Wade believes that Lubbock listeners want to know what is going on... and that is our goal in the mornings. Our slogan here at KRFE AM 580 is "The Station that Listens to Lubbock". It's more than just a slogan... It's the way we run the station. Wade graduated from West Texas A&M and is retired from the Army Reserves. Chuck Kenny
